HI, I’M MANISH MITTAL

My professional journey as an educational consultant, trainer, and career counsellor began in Surat in 2000 after I founded Global Careers. In an illustrious career spanning over two decades, I have counselled, mentored, and trained more than 40,000 students with varied profiles. I have also served as a study abroad consultant and chief career advisor at Fountainhead School, Tapti Valley International School, and Agarwal Vidya Vihar, a few of the most reputed schools in Gujarat.

Being a quintessential learner, I continued my academic pursuit after attaining an undergraduate degree in engineering. In my quest to update my knowledge and skills, I completed a post-graduate diploma in career counselling, followed by a Master’s in Education. To gain proficiency in high school counselling, I earned the coveted on-campus college counselling certificate from the prestigious New York University, USA.

I am among the select few career counsellors in India who are certified to administer and interpret the world’s most renowned psychometric tests such as the MBTI, Strong Test Inventory, DAT, Multiple Intelligence. The profound understanding of the tests has empowered me to accurately assess students’ aptitude, interests, multiple intelligence, and personality. The experience and expertise thus gained have provided me with a deep insight into Career Counselling, Educational Planning, Psychometric Testing, Study Abroad Consulting, and Test Preparations.

Owing to my penchant for reading dictionaries, I have gradually become a logophile. The vocabulary workshops I conduct have been instrumental in helping thousands of students ace their GRE, IELTS, GMAT, TOEFL, and SAT exams.

The fact that I don many hats, and would wear the appropriate one for the occasion, makes me unique in the business. I take extreme pride in the fact that most of our business comes through the strong recommendations of our present and past counselees, mentees, and students. I endeavour to create an eco-system where the youth, in particular, understand the importance of career planning and career guidance. To accomplish the mission, I have conducted a multitude of workshops, webinars, and seminars at educational institutions and community centres to create awareness in society.

Twenty-two years on, I still look forward to beginning my day at Global Careers and feel very invigorated while interacting with students. The universe has truly blessed the ordinary me to help so many souls. It indeed has been an incredible journey so far. Yes!
