Entrance Exams in India: UG and PG Admissions Guide
Which entrance exams should you write?
This guide lists the main undergraduate and postgraduate entrance exams in India, who conducts each one and which universities accept it. Global Careers advises students on which exams suit their goals and how to plan them alongside the board exams. We do not offer coaching for these exams.
Preparing for every exam is rarely sensible. The right list depends on the course the student wants, and that is the first thing to settle: see career counselling after 12th. Exam dates and patterns change every year, so confirm them on the official websites.

Yes, and many do: for example JEE Main with BITSAT, or CUET with IPMAT. The syllabuses overlap in places and differ in others, so the combination has to be planned around the board exams.
Several private universities accept SAT scores for admission or scholarships, among them Ashoka, Krea, Plaksha, O.P. Jindal and NMIMS. The policy differs by university and programme, so confirm it on the admissions page.
